We've had the pleasure of working with Lorraine for several years, having originally designed her website. What's truly inspiring is her journey, rooted in the North East. Since starting her interior design service in 2018, Lorraine always harboured a dream: to create her very own range of beautiful home accessories.
This wasn't just a fleeting idea. Over the past 18 months, while Lorraine was diligently sourcing unique products and collaborating with local suppliers, we were busy behind the scenes. Our mission? To meticulously build the entire e-commerce section at the back of her existing website, ready for her stunning Willow & Maine brand debut.
The process of bringing an online store to life involves careful planning, seamless integration, and a deep understanding of how to present products beautifully online. We focused on creating a user-friendly shopping experience, ensuring the website was easy to navigate, secure for transactions, and visually aligned with the elegant aesthetic of Willow & Maine's new product range. A particularly brilliant feature we integrated is that all purchases made through her online store automatically create an invoice directly in her Xero accounting software. This is a massive time-saver for Lorraine when it comes to her bookkeeping and bank reconciliation.
Crucially, as part of our commitment to empowering our clients, we also provided Lorraine with comprehensive training. This means she's now fully equipped to manage her online store and product listings independently, giving her the control and flexibility she needs.
Seeing Lorraine's dedication and passion culminate in this successful launch is a real testament to her entrepreneurial spirit. It's a prime example of how a well-established local service business can expand its reach and offerings through a strategic online presence.
